Tatiana Rafter is a former ice hockey player who achieved a significant milestone in the UBC Thunderbirds program by becoming the first player to be named Canada West Player of the Year

Significantly, Rafter was the Thunderbirds' top scorer in 2013 and 2015. Following the 2012-13 season, she amassed 13 goals and 10 assists, as well as seven goals and five assists in 10 playoff games. During that season, she was chosen for the Canadian women's ice hockey team at the 2013 Winter Universiade. Her exceptional performance in the 2014 season, where she led all players in the Canada West conference with 20 goals, 18 assists, 38 points, 9 power play goals, 2 shorthanded goals, and 6 game-winning goals, earned her this accolade.

After her playing career ended due to a severe injury, Rafter transitioned to coaching and player development.
